About Surface Mechanix

We are Mark and Heidi Vilhauer, owner-operators of Surface Mechanix, LLC, a family-owned glass restoration specialty company based in Silverlake, Washington and servicing the entire Pacific Northwest area.  We have 17 years of experience in scratch removal, graffiti damage, acid etching, damage caused by window washers and construction, residential scratches on furniture, windows and doors.

We also do hard water spot removal and sealing on windows, and shower doors. Mark is also one of the nation’s top heavy damage removal technicians, specializing in welding slag removal and chemical etching.  Glass restoration is not an additional service for us…It’s all we do!
